Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe Description

Midway wanted some super-heroes. The Capcom characters have already faced off against the heroes of the Marvel Universe, now its the turn of the Mortal Kombat guys, and they get the heroes that started it all - the inhabitants of the DC Universe. That's right, it's all-out bloody carnage as the likes of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman square up against legendary, seasoned fighters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Sonya Blade. First up, you're probably wondering how the bloomin' heck a more or less normal woman like Sonya is meant to face up against a Man of Steel. Well, as you might imagine from the fact the two worlds have collided, there's some dark mojo at work, and that's served to level the playing field somewhat. You also might be worried about whether, in a game populated by bright, costumed heroes, the brutal characters of Mortal Kombat will keep their fatalities. In short, they will. While you can still watch Scorpion burn his foes to a crisp, the DC characters come with their own brutalities, such as Superman turning his might to pounding an opponent into the floor, neatly sidestepping a move that actually kills. The game comes with new fighting mechanics, such as Klose Kombat, an intense fighting experience that shows progressive damage being doled out, and Freefall Kombat, which enables players to do battle in mid-air as they fall from one arena to the next. And don't worry folks, Midway wouldn't let the fight of the new century pass without allowing you to duke it out online!
