Quantum of Solace Description

James Bond used to take his Martinis shaken, not stirred. Since Daniel Craig took on the role of the world's greatest secret agent, we're not entirely sure he isn't a little of both. So, with the release of Quantum of Solace, it's time to step into the shoes of a more grizzled Bond. As well as delving into the action of Quantum of Solace, the game picks up Casino Royale, too. It's the first next-gen Bond game, why not go big? Beenox has taken charge of development on the Wii version. It has used the Call of Duty 4 game engine - a fine place to start as anyone who's played it will know. There's a key difference, however. The game will dip in and out of the first-person viewpoint. When you're in the thick of it and bullets are whizzing past your ears, you'll be able to dip into first-person mode, but you'll have a third-person point of view at your disposal so you won't have to miss out on Daniel Craig's rugged good looks. Following the two films, the action swings from stealthy, secret agent-type work to all-out, balls-to-the-wall blockbuster combat. You'll get to indulge in that with your friends too, thanks to the multiplayer options - with local split screen play for up to four people exclusive to the Wii.
