Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings Description

One year on from the events depicted in Final Fantasy XII, Vaan and Penelo are back in a new Final Fantasy adventure exclusive to Nintendo DS. Revenant Wings' young protagonist Vaan travels the skies of Ivalice accompanied by his trusted navigator Penelo, and their treasure-hunting escapades take them to the sky continent of Lemures. There, they meet Llyud, a member of the Aegyl Race. This mysterious people have been living on the floating continent for centuries, but a disturbance has enabled treasure-seeking sky pirates to infiltrate their once secret territory. It's down to Vaan and his band of young sky pirates to take a stand against the trespassers and protect the extraordinary land of Lemures and its unique natives. The Final Fantasy series has always been synonymous with style, innovation and deep, deep quality storylines. FF veterans and even newcomers will be delighted to hear that Revenant Wings - only the second game in the FF universe touted as a direct sequel to a game in the brand - continues with that strong tradition Square Enix has strived for for so long. Neat use of the DS stylus and touch-screen is of course on offer, and despite Revenant Wings only being a single-player experience, well, once you get into battle, you'll feel as though you're going up against a real human opponent. Revenant Wings is certainly a worthy follow-up to FFXII: time those 360 and PS2 owners crossed over to the Nintendo side to carry on the Fantasy.
