The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night Description

That little purple dragon's back. You know the one: little, dragony...Spyro! The second instalment in the Legend of Spyro trilogy kicks off with the maniacal Ape King turning up at the Temple of Souls hoping to usher in, of all things, a new age of darkness. Luckily, the key to stopping him seems to be in Spyro's little purple head. Players will need to unlock the secret of the visions Spyro is having in order to save the day. Well, they might have to fight some things and solve some puzzles, too. Hollywood stars Elijah Wood (Frodo from Lord of the Rings) and Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon in Batman Begins) both make a return to the series to play Spyro and his elder mentor, Ignitus. New to the second game in the series are a host of new moves, including four upgradeable breath attacks, new elemental melee moves and new fury attacks, with each new move taking on an elemental aspect relating to either fire, ice, electricity or earth. Just when you thought you'd seen it all, Vivendi has another trick up its sleeve, as well; Dragon Time! Spyro can now bend time to dodge attacks, out-manouevre his suddenly slower enemies and complete puzzles.
