Crash Boom Bang! Description

Crash Boom Bang (DS) Crash Boom Bang! sees the Crash Bandicoot gang in a race to find the Super Big Power Stone for the Viscount. This power stone - not the minty chocolate treat - is a magic item of which legend says will grant its user one wish. Crash, Coco, Crunch and friends must race and battle against Dr. Cortex in order to find the power stone first, otherwise Cortex will use the stone to further his diabolical plans for world domination. The adventure will take the players around the world looking for stone tablets, map pieces and the final key. The game is presented as a dice-rolling party game in a similar manner to Mario Party. Players take turns to roll the die and move around the board, the squares the players land on determine what happens next: you can get a points increase or decrease, collect an item, or play a mini game. Items collected on the board can help or hinder you in various ways. For example, a magnifying glass will reveal the locations of more items to collect. There are around 40 mini games in Crash Boom Bang that can be played by up to four players, either CPU opponents or wireless-connected humans. Some games will randomly choose a player to bet on the outcome. This player will not take any part in the game, but will be able to make a wager on the outcome, risking points to gain points. The mini games are controlled by use of the DS touchscreen and microphone and cover a variety of activities such as playing basketball, sailing canoes, flying aeroplanes and keeping feathers suspended in mid-air. You can also distract your opponents by using a messaging system that will obscure their screen with your message. The ultimate goal is to win the various boards by either reaching the exit or uncovering hidden items. Then you can progress to the next board and advance the story towards finding the Super Big Power Stone and saving the world from Dr Cortex once more.
