Rebelstar: Tactical Command Description

The year is 2117. The evil Arelian Empire has been in control of planet Earth for many decades. The Arelians are nasty little creatures with huge heads and black almond shaped eyes. They don't like to engage in conflict, but when they do, they use their psionic powers and advanced technology to win. At first, the Arelians brought peace and prosperity to a world which had seen numerous wars, ecological devastation and widespread disease. Eventually though, the Arelian Empire controlled the people of Earth through fear. They did this by employing a militaristic race of carnivorous humanoids known as the Zorn, to abduct people when they turn 30. The Arelians rewarded the Zorn with flesh for their services. Now, a band of brave rebels has decided to make a stand and fight against the Arelians. Gamers assume the role of Jorel, the young leader of the rebels. Jorel must organise the rebel forces and build an army powerful enough to challenge the Arelian Empire for control of planet Earth. Rebelstar: Tactical Command's RPG element allows players to experience true character interaction and development. Characters can be equipped with various types of weapons that include missile launchers, grenades, sniper rifles and laser rifles. The game also offers a variety of equipment, stealth skills and destructible environments. There are four different modes for players to get stuck into, including Campaign Mode, Skirmish Mode, Hot-Seat Multiplayer Mode and Multiplayer Link Mode. In Hot-Seat Multiplayer Mode, there is a replay option that allows gamers to review their opponent's previous turn. What are you waiting for? Planet Earth needs your help - now!
