Run Like Hell Description

Originally released for PlayStation 2 in October 2003, Interplay's take on the increasingly popular survival horror concept has now made the transition to Xbox. As is often the case, with the conversion comes the introduction of a couple of new features, but at the core lies the same suspenseful and scary sci-fi adventure in which you must fight for survival against an array of rather pant-wettingly frightening monsters. Oh, did we mention lots of big guns? You take on the role of Nick Connor, a military hero exiled to a desolate mining station in deep space. Returning from a routine mission, you find everyone on the station either dead or dying, wiped out by a vicious and intelligent alien race. From here on, you must search for survivors, investigate how the aliens managed to get on the station and, unsurprisingly, wipe them all out. Did we mention big guns? There are a total of seven chilling chapters to play through, making for over 20 hours worth of gameplay. Throughout, an assortment of intelligent and brutal aliens must be faced. They learn from your actions and adapt to become even more deadly. But don't worry because, in case we didn't mention it already, there are loads of big guns. As mentioned before, the Xbox port of Run Like Hell benefits from some new features, most notably an exclusive new level and the ability to download further content via Xbox Live. As well as this, the game also offers full support for Dolby 5.1, so if you're kitted out with the appropriate audio system, the hell that you're running like can be that bit more, erm, hellish. And guns, yes the guns - they sound really big.
