Metal Dungeon Description

Future Earth, and man and machine have become one in this RPG combat game. There's a Metal Dungeon below, and its inhabitants are none too pleased with their living conditions. Legendary beasts and other formidable myths have been revived and, as a survivor cyborg, it's your responsibility to get down there and quieten things down. In other words, knock the living daylights out of anything that moves. Assembling a party from scratch, you must choose several members from a selection of five character types, all heavily equipped with the best in weapons technology, before entering the first of ten cavernous dungeon levels. All levels are abundant with cyborg-hungry demonic creatures and progress becomes more taxing with each dungeon successfully complete. There is a sound learning curve, as progress grants new physical and magical abilities, affording the player the strength needed to attempt future stages. The on-screen action when these abilities are put to good use is nothing short of breathtaking; the Xbox hardware does a fine job. An extremely clever random generator means players can pummel through hundreds of stages and never play the same level twice. Characters are completely customisable, which grants players the freedom to build their party as they see fit. And as a fellow cyborg, accrued chips and implants will prove invaluable to 'upgrading' your abilities. It's not strictly an RPG and it's not technically an RTS game. It is however, a fine combination of the two that is well worth playing.
