Army of Two Description

Rogue private military corporations have enflamed hot spots around the globe: Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and a battle-crippled aircraft carrier. China and Miami are both under siege. Only Rios and Salem, two war-hardened mercenaries, are capable of quelling the violence and corruption afflicting these vulnerable warzones. It will take their Army of Two to halt the corporations' violent tactics and restore some peace. Fight alongside your team-mate to become the deadliest two-man military outfit a government can buy. Breakthrough gameplay, with a live or adaptive AI partner, enables you to take advantage of two-man strategies like customisable weapons, vehicles and tactical shooting. If you're going to survive, you'll have to bring down a vast conspiracy in which the line between the good guys and the bad guys has been obliterated.

This game is great, the graphics are really good. The plot a little far fetched but still good. Lots of upgrades and weapons to have fun with. Game is even better with a friend, I am unable to comment about online because I have not tried yet. This game is great, so rent it. I am totally going to buy it.

This game is pretty good. Puts a tactical spin on the 3rd person shooter genre with the agro system and focusing on teamwork. However the controls are not perfect and the online did not work for me at all, i was not able to get one online co-op game(the split screen worked fine though). The single player was also quite short (completed in one sitting) but still enjoyable. I can recommend this game for any anyone looking for a short solid co-op game.

Has to be played with a friend on co-op. Not great, but ok for a laugh.

A game that must never play alone. The A.I of the computer controled friend is a joke: he'll just stand still and do nothing while he gets shot, he'll drag you right into a gang of enemys when you're taken down and overall the buddy is about as smart as a dead rabbit. But play the game online and its a whole different story. It's worth a rent but only if you're online.

Good fun but a bit repetitive after a while.

Good shooting and fairly good graphics make this game a fun play. It does not play well one-player, yey two-player is a laugh.

This game definately deserved the poor reviews it got. It is completely unstable (crashed 3 times in the first 15 minutes of me playing) and the controls just feel awkward compared to other 3rd person shooters of this genre. It feels like "The Club" with a story line... and not a great one at that. Needless to say, within an hour of me getting it through, it was already on its way back. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT RENT, DO NOT TOUCH.
Features
  • Co-op is no longer a mode, it's the game. Players must undertake TWO man missions using TWO man strategies and tactics to ultimately create a TWO man advantage that no enemy can withstand.

  • Army of Two delivers intelligent partner AI (PAI) that will interact, adapt, collaborate and learn from their human partner. The PAI will also react and adjust to the gamer's ability and how they play the game by taking the lead or following, driving strategy or taking orders. It is the dream of the human machine.

  • Customise and upgrade dozens of deadly weapons and share them with your partner off or online.

  • EA's Montreal game studio is working to deliver realistic character and environmental effects including fluid dynamics that showcase an open-ocean water-wave simulation as well as physics based animations.

  • Army of Two will captivate gamers with a politically charged storyline, centering on the impact and ethical issues of Private Military Corporations.

  • Army of Two redefines two man online gameplay with players seamlessly moving from PAI to live players as they make their way through the game.
