Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure Description

Pirates! Thank Disney they've made such a strong comeback in recent years. Capcom's Wii puzzler, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, carries on the cultural resurgence in fine tropical form. Word on the high seas has it that the infamous pirate Barbaros once stole the world's (yes, the whole world's) treasure and hid it on a mysterious island. Of course, many a pirate has been lured by the legend into attempting to find the untold wealth. Naturally, they've all failed. When a young, aspiring pirate named Zack comes across a talking skull - that just so happens to be that of Barbaros - it looks like someone might finally be able to get their mitts on it. If, that is, Zack agrees to sort out the curse on Barbaros' head. Each tropical level is essentially one giant puzzle, with players using the Wii Remote to direct Zack and his golden-haired monkey to interact with the world around them. Long time gamers will be reminded of the likes of King Quest, Monkey Island and Full Throttle. It all comes with a slick cel-shaded finish that's suited to the Wii's capabilities. Don't be fooled by the cartoony style, however, as this is a game that will challenge gamers both young and old.
