The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Description

Link is back in tiny, touchy feely style. Well, mostly touchy. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass picks up months after where The Wind Waker left off. Link and Tetra have been sailing the high seas, questing for new lands and new adventure. As you might expect, it finds them. When they sail into an area of dense fog, they discover an abandoned ship. Tetra jumps aboard but falls into danger, and Link promptly finds himself adrift in the sea after trying to rescue her. When he wakes up on the shore of an enigmatic island, he sets off to find her with the help of a fairy. Everyone should have a fairy chum. Phantom Hourglass makes full use of the touch screen and stylus, with the combo providing an intuitive control method. Players will be able to tap on the screen to make Link move, make sweeps across the screen to engage in swordplay, and even dictate the path of his boomerang to hit those hard to reach spots. Nintendo has also thrown in a multiplayer mode which makes use of the DS's wireless functionality. One player will take on Link, while the other controls his enemies to doggedly pursue him. If you don't want to end up as baddie food, you'll need to snag enough force gems to see them off. This is the one the Nintendo faithful have been waiting for, and they will not be disappointed.

The game is about saving a princess from a pirate ship! you have to travel around little islands, with your special steamboat which jumps in the air over obstacles. You have a cannon on your ship later in the adventure, where you can shot at enemys on the sea, parts of the ds are required to use to finish parts of a puzzle. You meet all kinds of strange characters,It can be very cute or funny sometimes,on the islands or the seas. You can upgrade your ship any time, you find new parts, you can even collect treasure, which you can trade later on for money to help you in your quest to find the princess. Link starts of as a little boy,if he grows I don't know I am still playing hourglass. Classic because you can use a boat on the seas, while visiting islands with the boat!

  • Players can stash the map on the top screen for quick reference or drop it to the touch screen to make notes, study enemies, or chart a path for their boat to follow while they man the cannons.
