Eidos has brought that classic formula to the Wii in the UK. You know the one we're talking about. Yup, bugs and romance! Before you ask: no it's not about bugs getting romantic, although we're sure there's a game in there somewhere... Delving into the stuff of B-movie legend, Escape From Bug Island brings Wii owners all the bug fighting delight you can handle. Ray, Mike and Michelle weren't expecting it when they rocked up in the woods for a night of camping, but that's what they got. In fact, Ray was hoping for a spot of romance. Unfortunately, Michelle's too busy cataloguing insects to notice and Mike swoops in. As she disappears into the woods to think, with Mike in hot pursuit, it's up to players to step into Ray's shoes to find them. He will, of course, have some big ol' bugs to contend with. Making the most of the Wii's motion-sensitive control system, players will have to fight through hordes of over-sized insects armed only with rifles, grenades, sickles, sticks, rocks and whatever else nature can provide in this dose of survival horror in the classic bug/romance tradition.
