Alien Syndrome Description

It's 2007, and after a 20-year absence, Alien Syndrome returns to console. This time it has had a graphical boost and a little bit of a story pumped into it. You play as female marine Aileen Harding, who responds to a distress signal sent from a distant space station. On her arrival, she discovers aliens and takes it upon herself to destroy them and save the station. Part shooter, part RPG, Alien Syndrome lets the player choose from one of four different classes: firebug, tank, seal and demolitions expert. Each class has its own attributes, focuses and selection of weapons; throughout the game, you can upgrade each of your attributes and gain access to over 80 different weapons. The game makes use of the Wii controller so that you can easily aim at enemies and change camera using only a flick of the stick and Nunchuk. It's a fine approach to the gameplay, and it's necessary too, in that it enables you to fight your way through the multitudes of alien-infested levels that lay ahead of you.

High quality sci-fi action-RPG gameplay for the Wii: Alien Syndrome combines the intensity of a fast-paced, action-packed sci-fi shooter gameplay, with the depth and customization of an RPG. Frenetic single-player and multiplayer modes are packed with over 100 enemies, 15 sub-bosses and five main bosses to fight, using 80 weapons and hundreds of armor types and bonus items.

Completely customize your character to expand in-game strategy options: Choose from several character classes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Fight in the single player campaign mode or in four-player cooperative mode: Venture solo through an expansive and varied sci-fi world, or battle along side up to four friends in Co-op Mode.
