CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Hard Evidence Description

It's time to pick up your magnifying glass once again and join the Las Vegas CSI team in solving bizarre crimes in one of the world's most bizarre cities. Well, we say 'magnifying glass', but what we really mean is super-hi-tech equipment the likes of which you wouldn't even be able to touch in real life. There are five new cases for fans to solve in this latest instalment in the series based on the hit TV show. Players will join Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows and the rest of the Las Vegas cast - whose actors have lent their voice talents to the game - as they piece together the evidence and bring perps to justice. New in this game is the garage lab. Players will be able to use it to examine larger pieces of evidence like cars and trucks. Players will also be able to recreate gunfights using ballistic lasers, dig into events using video analysis and slam down their coffee in anger as they partake in grisly interrogations.

Not as bad as other people have made out but at the same time does get a bit boring after the first 2 investigations. I noticed on the third investigation that one of the hotel rooms i had to search was identical to one in the second investigation aswell as another location. Gameplay wise, it is pretty much the same as the PC versions just some different stories. One advantage is that you get some easy gamerpoints out of it but to be honest after the second story i just couldnt be bothered to finish the third story as it was dragging on a bit, so although they are just awarded for finishing the game, actually finishing the game would be a constant battle to stay awake. Great first two missions but after that just got too samey and boring..give it a go if you want to unlock 400 gamerpoints and make yourself tired. Great game for people who cant sleep...Im thinking of my mate Martin who practically never sleeps and loves trying to get more gamerpoints than me...to him i would recommend this game! Not as bad at the start but gets boring after that...rent it for the points! my score: 4.5/10

This game is about as fun as watching paint dry, you do the same thing over and over and over again as a fan of the show I thought hey why not by I was so wrong the story line for the cases are so badly put togther some of the voice acting is some of the worse I have ever heard in a game and the game is just really boring the game is so badly put togther and the makers of it are so lazy in the end case you meet two of the same people that you have already met. Apart from the fact that it's super easy to get a 1000 gamerscore this would be the only reason I would ever recomend this game to anyone.

Had excellent potential for a great game and was looking forward to it as enjoy the television series but couldn't get past the clunky navigation around the scenes/tools and the poor presentation of the game. Could only manage about 10 minutes of gameplay before ejecting the disc.

Easy 1000 points. Very boring though. You can even skip all the investigation conversations and still solve the cases it is so linear.

Don't waste a rental on this game, it is the worst I have played on the Xbox 360 and really belongs on a PS1! Game play is shallow, just point and click, the stories are all linear with no way of moving away from the route designed by the publisher and the achievements are a joke.
