NASCAR 2008: Chase for the Cup Description

NASCAR 2008 brings the thrill of NASCAR to the next generation allowing for even faster races and crashes on an epic scale. Each player starts with a basic racing car but can make over 40 upgrades to their car from brakes to bodywork allowing them to push for the number one spot. Once you enter Career Mode, you can begin to race on the many tracks available in the game and if you're lucky, even earn sponsorship from one of the many different companies that go talent-spotting on the NASCAR tour. Gaining sponsorship will earn you a car tricked out for the kind of racing at which you excel: if you specialise at super speedway tracks and gain a sponsor, you will receive a car modded to be extra speedy. With new changes in the way AI reacts during races, racers will be able to lead the race by themselves rather than having to work with a pack mentality, this means that players aren't reliant on other racers and must work on their own skills if they are to have any chance of reaching first place.
