Tenchu Z Description

Tenchu Z is a Ninja Stealth/Action game developed by K2 and published by From Software - the first Ninja title on Xbox 360. Set in Feudal Japan and reflecting Ninja mythology, in Tenchu Z players must incorporate stealth, sword-based combat and the ability to utilise a wide variety of ninja accessories to complete their objectives - all while taking into account how much noise they make, how visible they are, and even how badly they smell. There are more than 50 different missions, from espionage to assassination to hostage rescue, for both solo and co-operative play. You can team up with a friend to finish off your foes. Let your partner subdue the enemy from behind while you run through him with your katana!

Tenchu is one of those strange games that really hasn't improved since the first Playstation version of it. The graphics are obviously better but not outstanding for this generation. The stealth gameplay is the same as previous installments with you controlling a ninja in Japan's feudal era, trying to assassinate a target or retrieve items/information from hostile territory. You don't need to be stealthy to complete these missions, but if you just run through the game you're missing the point. It's a lot of fun to scout your enemies from rooftops before leaping down to take them out with a single strike when they're least expecting. The enemy AI is often terrible and while bad guys who spot you will give chase for about 30 seconds, they will then completely forget about you and turn their backs... readying themselves for more ninja stealth kill action. I really enjoyed this game, while at heart knowing that it really wasn't any good. This is a guilty pleasure.

It's a fantastic stealth, kill, run away and hide then repeat game but over all its very blah, its same same all the way through the entire game, gets very boring after the first 20 levels, but if you want the achievements then i suggest knuckling down and cracking on with it
