| Tenchu is one of those strange games that really hasn't improved since the first Playstation version of it. The graphics are obviously better but not outstanding for this generation. The stealth gameplay is the same as previous installments with you controlling a ninja in Japan's feudal era, trying to assassinate a target or retrieve items/information from hostile territory. You don't need to be stealthy to complete these missions, but if you just run through the game you're missing the point. It's a lot of fun to scout your enemies from rooftops before leaping down to take them out with a single strike when they're least expecting. The enemy AI is often terrible and while bad guys who spot you will give chase for about 30 seconds, they will then completely forget about you and turn their backs... readying themselves for more ninja stealth kill action. I really enjoyed this game, while at heart knowing that it really wasn't any good. This is a guilty pleasure. | ||

| It's a fantastic stealth, kill, run away and hide then repeat game but over all its very blah, its same same all the way through the entire game, gets very boring after the first 20 levels, but if you want the achievements then i suggest knuckling down and cracking on with it | ||
