Sometimes, being a soldier for the king can be thoroughly thankless task. Everyone knows it. But, if that weren't the case, we wouldn't get the tale of loyalty, betrayal and redemption that is Untold Legend: Dark Kingdom. The land of Dureth is a troubled place. Barbarian hordes and other undesirables are getting into a tizzy and rebelling en masse. The king isn't too keen on the state of affairs so off he sends his elite guard, the Dragon's Shade, who have the eerie ability to draw power from their fallen opponents. Things are not as they seem, however. When they get there, they discover that the reason the Barbarians et al are kicking off is better than they thought. Strange and terrible monsters are killing innocents while wearing the king's armour. And with good reason, it turns out, since they're working for him. Sworn to protect the good of the kingdom as they are, the Dragon's Shade decide to get involved and chuck the king out on his backside. Which, of course, is where you come in. You'll play using either the tough as nails Warrior, the quick and agile Scout or the powerful Mage to hack, slash, abracadabra and puzzle your way through evil hordes to return the kingdom to peace and prosperity. There are few genres that benefit from high definition, next-gen graphics like the RPG, and Dark Kingdom is no exception. Dark Kingdom will take you across a range of lovingly-rendered backdrops and deliver breathtaking action.
