This game is for Star Trek fans only because thats the only thing that will make you want to go back to it. Yes it looks good, Yes you have the original cast doing the voice overs, Yes you have the original ships but i dont think thats enough to bring back the non fan to playing over and over. The games controls are mental they just dont do what it says on the tin! leaving you frustrated and ranting like an old man at the tv. Missions are repetitive and drawn out with the only thing keeping you going is to unlock the next era to see what new. That said the story lines are good and the original captains doing the voices is compeling. I also liked adding ships to my fleet and getting enough credit to buy better ones (sad but true). Basicly if you love Star Trek you will love the game if you dont like Star Trek then you have wasted your time and money.

Excellent graphics and sound effects and it makes good use of the acting talent available, controls arn't very instinctive but are fine with practice. Gameplay isn't that varied but its good enough to remain interesting until the end of the story. Not being able to replay earlier missions is a pain, especially if your after achievments.

It is probably accurate that it takes five minutes to turn a starship but this does not mean it's fun! Terrible controls, and camera angles make this game extremely frustrating.

Don't get me wrong, I like Star Trek, but this is a big let down. Boring and easily forgotten, believ it or not the PC Game is supposed to play even worse!!! Avoid unless you don't believe me.

I am a big Star Trek fan and I have to say that this game is terrible! its slow and ponderous with average graphics ,also the controls are utterly frustrating. Not even woth a rental avoid.
