Far Cry Vengeance Description

For most people, life in a tropical paradise is the ultimate exotic fantasy. But then, most people are not Jack Carver. The days are sunny and warm, but come nightfall, the memory of the Jacutan Archipelago is never far away. For Far Cry veterans - Carver and players of the previous games alike - mad scientists, beastmen and a Jekyll and Hyde complex is not the stuff of nightmares. Noobs to the Far Cry series have quite a shock coming their way. Now back in his home town of Ponphei, Carver does his best to pick up the few remaining pieces of his former life. Despite no longer having a boat, few prospects, and very little cash in his pocket, Jack can still manage to keep the demons at bay with a few stiff drinks. But Doctor Krieger's feral serum still pumps through his veins, and deep down, the beast rattles its cage. Jack Carver's not looking for trouble, but it seems trouble has a way of finding him. And find him it does, right at the start of Far Cry: Vengeance, as he is refused service at his local bar, a far-too-sexy-for-the-likes-of-him lady proposes some 'naughtiness' and he gets smacked in the chops and imprisoned by a policeman with a 'tache. Oh dear. So far, so Far Cry, but the Wii version is different in that the Nunchuck has to be deployed, and this makes a helluva difference to the gameplay. Your character movement is dictated by the thumbstick, while the direction you move in is down to pointing the Wiimote in the appropriate direction. Story Mode and Multiplayer Mode both feature a shedload of land and water-based vehicles to commandeer, along with as much deadly weaponry as any US President could wish for. Characters both strange and familiar reappear throughout Far Cry Vengeance to keep the story interesting too. The aforementioned Multiplayer Mode guarantees longevity, as long as you remember to tighten that controller strap!
