Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is the ninth in this top-selling golf game series, a series that has increasingly set the standard for the genre as it has continued to improve year on year since the first title way back in 1998. This time around,improvements-wise, its no different, with 21 new courses to choose from and the most PGA Tour Players to date, with 50 in total to choose from, including 21 of the world's top players, such as Tiger Woods, Ian Poulter, John Daly, Vijay Singh and Annika Sorenstam, the most decorated golfer on the LPGA Tour. And for extra realism and atmosphere, the commentating dream team of David Feherty and Gary McCord provide commentary and irreverent observations during every round. Alternatively, if you don't want to play as one of the Pros, then you don't have to. You might want to create your own unique character with the innovative character creation tool, which has been totally revamped for the 07 version of the game, with deeper modifications, more apparel, equipment licenses, and a wider range of specialty items. Famous courses in the game include The Four Seasons Resort Aviara, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, Riviera Country Club, The National, and The K Club, home of The Ryder Cup 2006. One of the main new features in the game is the 'Team Tour Mode' in which you assemble a team, improve your team status, establish rivalries, and compete for the coveted EA Cup as you chase down 'Team Tiger'. Online, you can play with up to three of your friends or take part in online tournaments, which come complete with full stat tracking, league leaders, and more. What's more, you can get the latest sports updates and breaking news from the always-on ESPN ticker, ESPN Radio updates, and ESPNEWS. The previously solid dual analog swing system has been refined, and you can now choose from an alternate swing style featuring the Shape Stick, or the Standard style, which allows you to swing and putt with the left analog stick. Finally, when you just want a quick bit of fun or manage to snatch ten minutes to get a little practice in, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 boasts more mini-game challenges than ever before, so you can choose to work on your game or maybe just take on a friend with Elimination Mode, Battle Golf, One-Ball, and more...

The best sports sim so far in my humble opinion. A vast improvement on TW06 with plenty of trophies, trophy balls and achievements to keep you chasing the titles for quite a while. Takes a good 16-20 rounds of golf to build up to a 110% skilled player but once you do those par 4's become par 3's and then comes the low scores. If you like golf then this is a definate one for you. Live play is very good but do try to stick with players from your own country as playing with USA opponents can produce some rather curious shots and outcomes. Like you see yourself sink your ball for a birdie, its shows birdie on your screen yet your opponent sees the ball drop short of hole. They are laughing cos your a cheering and it becomes quite bizzare.... Plenty of custom game types to choose from so does not become to repetative. Im now chasing the 100% complete achievement so swapgame.com wont be getting this back for a while yet!! If you rent and fancy an on line game add Diablo Bastardo to your friends list and I'll see you on the course!!

I found this game fun, as its the first golf game ive played the help and tutorials really made me enjoy the game, nice graphics and can be quite addictive =]

the best golf simulator on a console aorund . be nice if they still included the spin feature (choosing where to hit the ball ) than having the spin whilke in flight again ,as well as adding loft but must of ran out of buttons its still very difficult and satisfying when make a good shot though and you really can control your shot well ,curving the shot a bit with just the left stick as if holding the club its a game worth renting not sure about buying though unless you really like your sport games
