Super Monkey Ball Adventure Description

More Monkey bizniz from SEGA as Aiai and friends embark on an epic quest across the five kingdoms of Monearth. Strange forces are affecting each of the lands and you must discover what's at the heart of each problem. By spreading joy - not a difficult task with any Super Monkey Ball game - and defeating the Naysayers (the enemies that are determined to spoil all the fun) by uniting the feuding kingdoms, you can allow true simian love to blossom and help the greatest wedding ever to take place. Each of the five kingdoms is split into two realms known as the Adventure Realm and the Puzzle Realm. In the Adventure Realm, you must solve tasks and unique challenges set by the characters of the kingdom to increase the feeling of joy in the land. So far, so Super Monkey Ball! The Puzzle Realm can only be accessed through the Puzzle Gates located in the kingdoms of the Adventure Realm. Completing the Puzzle Gate challenges unlocks doors that lead to other areas in the kingdom. There are various Party Game modes available too, including (but not limited to) Monkey Bounce, Monkey Tag, Monkey Fight, Monkey Target and the promisingly-monikered Monkey Trumps (that last one isn't what we were expecting - the only disappointment here). These can be unlocked with the currency of the banana when Paipai appears throughout the Adventure Realm. The PSP version can also be mated with the PS2 version to import saved game data. It's all a bit too Monkey much, actually. Excuse us while we go spend some more 'nanas!

Frustrating! Too much time spent loading up different zones, even if you venture accidentally over a boundary and then have to go straight back to the island zone you just left. This ruins it for me. Lots of potential because I enjoyed Monkey Ball, and an adventure based on that concept could have been great. But it isn't. If you fail a mission or come out of the zone, you have to find the character again to initiate the mission. In the end, you just get bored really quickly.
