Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai Description

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is the first game from the successful anime-inspired franchise to make its way to the PSP. There is the opportunity to take on your friends in exhilarating wireless multiplayer battles or go it alone facing the computer, using all the familiar aspects of Dragon Ball Z combat, including super high-speed bouts, counter-attacks, flight and Ki (energy) management. The main story mode, based on the hit movie Fusion Reborn is called Dragon Mode and lets gamers choose from 18 playable characters, including prize fighter Pikkon. After the defeat of Bu, the world thought it had achieved peace. However, the birth of Janenba - who has the power to bring the dead back to life and distort the world's dimension - has signalled a new threat to the planet. Gamers can fly solo or partner up with friends and rivals to defeat this threat. As well as the main story mode, there is a standard one-on-one arcade mode, a time-attack mode, a survival mode, a stripped-down ad hoc multiplayer mode and a training mode. Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai also has a revamped version of the acclaimed Saiyan Overdrive fighting system, the ability to perform in-game transformations to more powerful forms, and an all-new stage from the Janemba movie,

This is great fun to play. I found myself playing this for quite a long time on end. The gameplay doesn't become repetitive quickly brcause of all the fighters and the different moves with different characters. The story mode is not that challenging but some of the fights are quite hard to win.
