| This is a quality FPS, but it takes some getting used to, as they have slowed the horizontal controls to make it easier to aim. | ||

| It's a very decent game but the combination of a lack of checkpoints and lengthy missions can get very annoying. The 'shoot everything' motif is a little misleading as well. There aren't that many instances where this can be done too much real effect and it doesn't have that much influence on the game. Overall it is one of the better FPS but 1 or 2 little things stop it from being really amazing. | ||

| 3/5 - why what happened? Black is an interesting title which doesn't do a lot wrong. However the whole destroy everything aspect is very over-hyped and barely in existence as far as game mechanics go - sure stuff blows up and walls can be destroyed - but - most walls and most scenery stays the same way and don't blow up. Shooting stuff to fall on people - yeah maybe once in the entire game is this even possible, so basically all this aspect does is cause slowdown. The game itself is very short, only 8 levels ranging form 20mins to 60mins each, with no saving mid level and very few checkpoints which can annoy on some of the more annoying levels. Some enemies need about five headshots to die and this can be very difficult if you're surrounded by enemies with RPGs being fired at you. You cannot jump - so what? - well you left a medback on the ledge above its only half a foot up and you can see it but tough - you cannot go back. Worth a rent as once completed there is no incentive to play it again. | ||
