Battles of Prince of Persia Description

Battles of Prince of Persia is a tactical card collecting and trading game, based on the popular Prince of Persia series. Players play as one of nine generals, commanding the mighty armies of ancient Persia, India or Aresura - collecting, purchasing and strategically trading more than 200 cards. In campaign mode, play through 24 different scenarios uncovering each General's strengths at the head of the Persian, Indian or Daevan army. You also have the options of honing your tactician's skills against AI in Skirmish mode or proving your worth in multiplayer, where you can play against friends with your own personalised deck and rack up the wins to rake in the cards.

This Prince of Persia game breaks with its traditional forebears in that it uses the Princes' character but places him smack bang in the middle of a strategy game. So, if you are after a 2D/3D adventure romp then stop reading right now, cus' this game aint' for you my friend ! What this game does do is to provide a worthy, simple alternative to games like 'Advance Wars'. The key word there is simple ! This game can be picked up and played without even a glance at the instruction manual but it still retains depth in its card based system should you want to get more from it. The card system is probably one of the games biggest flaws and you will really have to like the game to care enough to fathom out what all the cards mean to your armies and enemies. So, in summary, a turn based strategy game a la Advance Wars, that provides hours of simple gameplay. Multiplayer is also an option to play against a real world opponent rather than enemy AI.

What happens to the Prince between Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
Within that time, The Prince has gone through some harsh experiences to become more mature (emotional travel).
Focus on how the Prince, by trying to rid himself of the Dahaka, started a conflict between Persia and India, released an ancient evil and caused devastation, including the death of his mother.
Story told from different perspectives (the Prince, the Vizier, other Generals) + play from all sides of the story ? a unique twist to the storyline.
