| A bit of a quirky title this one. At face value, the content and gameplay within the game is simple and limited. Its purely a game to get a high score and nothing else. Its very similar in a way to a game you would find in an arcade. There is no story or adventure to finish, you just simply start at the beginning and see how far you can get before you lose your life. In terms of todays games it can leave you feeling cheated at the lack of content, but that to a degree would be missing the point. What this game excels at is pure and simple pick-up-and-play gameplay. It turns out to be the type of game that you keep handy just for the odd five minute blast while you are on the bus to work/school, and if you can get past its simplicity and see it for what it is, it does actually offer up quite a challenge. This is a title to rent first but give it a few days to get into and you may start to see its hidden charm ! | ||

| The idea behind Touch & Go is easy to pick up and learn quickly. The controls (all using the stylus) are simple and easy to master different techniques. There is no story or plot to the game (unless you are familiar with the much older Yoshi's Island for the SNES) and it can get quite repetitive, sinceyou're doing the same things over and over on randomly generated levels. The only way to put something different into the game is to design weird tracks for Yoshi to walk on using the stylus (which can be quite fun) The level design has not changed at all since Yoshi's Island. The characters are all the same one's we know and love. The only new concept in the game is the tracks that you make and the stylus effects are done quite well. The sound wasn't noticable in Touch & Go. Again, it looks like they lifted the original sounds from Yoshi's Island without much addition. While not annoying, you can easily of the original Yoshi's Island, minus the story and adding the stylus feature. This is the kind of game you just pick up and play for about 10-15 minutes at a time. No lasting gameplay, but you will definitely pick it up again again. | ||
