The Urbz: Sims in the City Description

Amongst EA and Maxis' biggest franchises, The Sims has sold millions of games in the past four years with the help of the series Bustin' Out console debut. A year later, the GBA rendition of The Urbz is ready, bringing those virtual inhabitants to the small screen for a second dose of 2D reality. Complete with new environments and new objectives, your ultimate goal in The Urbz is to foil Daddy Bigbucks' plans for domination over Miniopolis. But you must first earn a reputation in order to influence those around you and garner information to help you in your quest. And while that's core of the game, EA and Maxis haven't forgotten about the character customisation and extensive list of player choices that made the Bustin' Out games so massively popular. Complete with a fresh set of looks, retaining the isometric perspective of Bustin' Out for GBA, players can now design their protagonists to fit in with dark and urban feel of the game's 25 locales, which happen to include Urbania, Sim Quarter and Bayou. The GBA version is similar to its console counterparts in many ways, but is enhanced through its multi-player games and trade options. Joining with up to three others, players can master up to eight simple mini-games and compete against one another, as well as trade Urbz valuables freely. The GBA doesn't boasts the technical power of its 128-bit offerings, but that doesn't stop it from delivering an immersive Sims adventure that's every bit as captivating as the 3D games in the series.
