Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (PS3)

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (PS3) review

A huge hack & Slash game with loads of potential, just let down by some silly mistakes that could have been avoided. First off I do like the game, being a hack and slash fan but theres just several elements to the game that i absolutely hate. For example i experienced dodgy camera angles, bad framerates and glitchy combat. Despite these problems though the game world is absolutely MASSIVE and includes thousands of enemies and quests for you to grind on. overall i'd say 4/10 3/5 for this decent attempt at making a decent hack and slash.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PS3)

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PS3) review

Operation Flashpoint 2 is an odd one...Its really hard to review. Its a decent tactical modern war simulator/shooter with incredibly realistic gameplay and tactics. It is quite flawed as a game though since the graphics can sometimes let it down with poor textures etc, the controls are sometimes quite awkward and the accuracy on sniper rifles - even if you aim dead on are rubbish also your squad will sometimes run in front of something you tell them to hide behind. Other than those complaints the game is really great. During missions you can choose how to do your objective, where to go and even to go and find something else to do. The game has some strong multiplayer too lots of vehicular combat with 'destructable' environments. Anyway I really enjoyed the game but it is not worth a purchase you are better off renting it because this game is like marmite - you either love it or you hate it.

inFamous (PS3)

inFamous (PS3) review

infamous is probably one of the best ps3 exclusive titles out so far! It is unbelievably addictive and despite a few minor annoyances is well worth trying. The only annoyances I encountered were dodgy camera angles, some graphical errors and sometimes the annoying difficulty of some missions. The good and evil storylines are both very immersive and rewarding. For example people cheering and worshipping you for saving others, or cowering in fear of your dark powers. The upgrading is also fun as you always want to play just that little bit longer to get enough xp for a new power or extra melee abilities. The city itself is also impressive as there is something different around almost every corner and you can stand and watch people around you interacting with each other which is pretty cool. Aniother thing that is nice about the game is the comic book style cutscenes. overall I give infamous a 4/5 because despite a few flaws it is a great game that will keep you hooked for weeks. Hero or Villain? you decide!
