Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (PS3)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (PS3) review

I have always enjoyed the Potter games and I think that this is no exception. The graphics are the best so far and the story sticks closely to the film and book. The mini games like quidditch and potion making are very satisfying and you receive trophies for completing them. The voice acting isn't great and the story mode is quite short, only taking a few hours to complete so I wouldn't spend £40 on it. Nevertheless it is a great little game to rent.

Fight Night Round 4 (PS3)

Fight Night Round 4 (PS3) review

This is by far the greatest Fight Night to date. The graphics are immense and the physics are so precise that you wince as you see your boxer take a haymaker to the face! The career mode is fun and you can tweak the difficulty to your liking e.g. you can change the reactions and power of the A.I. if you are finding things a but too easy or tricky. It is also great to play with friends, however I found it difficult to play online as the EA severs are not the best!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3)

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3) review

Wow. This is arguably the greatest game out on PS3 at the moment. The single player campaign is almost flawless with the enemy reacting intelligently and the amount of detail put into the maps and the guns is remarkable. You play as a soldier in the British SAS and the US Marine Corps and the story is gritty and incredibly exciting. As for the multiplayer, it is in a league of it's own. Moving up ranks and unlocking new weapons and perks is terribly addicting and the varied maps make the game fresh and thrilling. This is a must-have game for all PS3 owners.

inFamous (PS3)

inFamous (PS3) review

This is certainly an entertaining game. You play as Cole, a man caught in the blast of an electric blast, who receives electric superpowers in the process. Lightning from your fingertips, gliding through the air, ELECTRICAL GRENADES! It is all there. In the game you get to choose to be good or bad, and to get the best out of the game you should play it once as good and once as bad. The story is fun, doing story missions and side missions to gain xp and progress through the game. I cannot really find any faults for the game other than the fact that the combat can occasionally be a little buggy, but that is all.
