Dragon Age Origins (PS3) review

Not a bad game... nice to be able to play a massive free-roaming rpg like this without needing a console (I am a WOW, SW:Galaxies, LOTF Angmar, veteren).... Niggly point I have is that they should have done more graphically, and maybe hired better actors for some of the parts.... If it wasn't for Alistair's ass-whooping attacks, then I would have ditched him long ago. Top Tip - You MUST get the Stone Golem.... seriously.... he makes a massive difference when u fight big bosses.... I hope they do a sequel...but please spruce up the graphics, and make it less blocky.

Darksiders (PS3) review

It aint no God of War It aint no Uncharted BUT... you WILL not want to put it down once you get button bashing Combos are excellent and the range of villains is brilliant Voiceovers, sory, gameplay and experience is thrilling. I rented it as I thought "why not", and i'm blinking glad I did! Till GOW3 hits our shelves...you have to play this game. Let there be War!!!!!

The Saboteur (PS3) review

Not a bad game... could have been alittle more better in terms of espionage...ie sneak up and kill a nazi and drag their body away.... Its annoying when u shoot one and the everyone knows where u r straight away Action sequences are good fighting excellent animation superb voices...hmmmm...ok story good driving is badly performed a game i would recommend to rent but dont think of it as brilliant more like .... the caretaker to Uncharted...so glad that won game of the year !!! woohoo!!!

SAW (PS3) review

The game did what I didnt think was possible with most movie-tie-in games.... ..it was actually good! Yes, difficult, gory, graphically slightly poor, but mainly a very good game. Its one you just want to complete....and boy does it tax your mind...... the voice acting, jigsaw...it feels very eerie and spooky in parts.... Have you been sinful? Rent it......"You'll want to play a game"

Assassin's Creed II (PS3) review

Hmmm... where do I begin... Graphically = Very good Animation = Could have been better, chracters look a little too fake.... Uncharted 2 pushed the boundary, as did Gears of War 2..... AC2 still needs some polishing Controls = still got that single button bashing with a few grabs..... needs to be more action packed Gameplay = This is the main problem for me....i stopped playing AC1 after getting 75% way through cos it was very very repetetive..... Here in AC2.... there are a few more challenges and a better storyline.... BUT still very very very repeteteive..... jumping, delivering, dodging, stealing....etc...... ....So all in all..... a game I might give up playing after 3 hours..... I expected more...I got little.....

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) review

Graphics = 10 Sound = 10 Gameplay = 9 Only reason I dont give it 10...is cos it would be great if you could carry more than 2 weapons But.....blimey !!! this game is good! I thought Batman tipped the scales....but this Exclusive to PS3 is well worth it. The acting, action, humour, storyline is impeccable! A MUST RENT

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes (PS3) review

Its not the most original type of game....or awe-inspiring....but if you are a Star Wars fan, then you may enjoy it. Graphically good, gameplay quite easy. It does entertain, and you will want to complete it. What we have to remember is that Adult Star Wars will have to wait till the TV Series in 2011? At the moment, Star Wars Clone Wars is aimed at kids...and this is a kid game.... if they like the show....get the game, they'll love it!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3) review

Okay...so the game is a lot of button bashing....but tactical thinking and usage of the team is required to get through it! Alot of fun and a massive improvement on the previous Xmen and MUA games of the past. One massive improvement is the way you can set the upgrades to auto....so you dont have to sit there doing it yourself which makes the game more fluid and 'marvel'-lous....sorry it had to be done.. On Normal mode.....clocked the game in 12 hours...... excellent cut scenes and is 'almost' true to the Civil Ware story....if you've read the comics...... Story 9/10 Graphics 10/10 Cut Scenes 10/10 Voices 8/10 Playability 10/10 Get it !!!! I hope they do another one soon!

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) review

Brilliant game.....the story is excellent... I strongly recommend it! Criticisms...cos there always some: * Combat ..... could have been more detailed....some like that, but I prefer special movees to be more intricate * Graphics.... for PS3 I would expect more.... grpahics are very PS2ish * Weaponary..... come on...the ability to pick up weapons like guns would have been great..... but then thats not batman is it? Overall, it is a good game....and one you'd really enjoy
