Fallout 3 (PS3)

Fallout 3 (PS3) review

I was expecting this to be a lot better, that's why I only gave it a 3 rating. The weapons don't quite feel or look right??. When you go into 3rd person view your characters animation looks clumsy and feels lazy??. It may be me but it didn't feel quite finshed to me. It seems to be missing a bit of polish as though lets send it out and get some money back in??. After seeing what they had accomplished with Oblivion years earlier this should have been so much better. It's still a good game and worth playing but should have been awesome....

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) review

This game is brilliant. I'm a little mystified why some have given it a lowish score?. Have they completed this game?. The graphics are superb, the voice acting especially by the joker(Mark Hamill) is awesome, and all the twisted character make for a truly enjoyable game. Yes the combat could be a little more in depth. But this doesn't stop you from having huge amounts of fun. Your gadgets are also superb. And cracking the Riddlers puzzels, plus finding all the little ??? dotted around make it even better. In my opinion this is one of the best games on the PS3 so far. And you must be crazy to miss it. Get it, sit back and have loads of fun...

Overlord II (PS3)

Overlord II (PS3) review

I never played the original but I had read that it wasn't evil enough. Well the latest installment certainly makes up for it. One of the first missions requires you to bash little adorable seals to pieces, ha. The graphics are good, controls are ok, game play is entertaining, and your minions are hilarious. It gives you great pleasure to march them off (using your right stick) and then watch them bring destruction on your unfortunate enemy. Dont worry if you loose a couple in the heat of battle because there are plenty of spawn points where you can replenish your evil but lovable numbers. All in all it's quite an enjoyable game. would I buy it? am not too sure, but just for the enjoyment and laughter then it's certainly worth a rent.

[PROTOTYPE] (Xbox 360)

[PROTOTYPE] (Xbox 360) review

This game is like marmite you will either love it or hate it. Unfortunately for me mine was the latter. After playing infamous which is awesome, and then seeing this with it's low res graphics was very disapointing. Yet again another game that feels unpolished and rushed out. The animation as you run through the city and up buildings just looks poor to me?. The sound effects while doing so sounds awful. The weapons you pick up off enemies feel weak, and the missions feel repetitve. Go here, go there dismember 50 or so goons and then continue. The lock on system could be better. The story's a cure for insomnia, and the amount of fun I had, which was little became old very fast. I must apologise, because like I said some will love it. But me? infamous is far superior, far more polished, and far more exciting..........

Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360)

Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360) review

Didn't like this at all. A game is supposed to be fun, but I didn't get any enjoyment from it what so ever. The weapon selects felt awkward especially in the heat of battle, if you could call it that..... The game relies on a gimmick... fully destructable buildings with physics???. I blasted the four walls holding a chimney up only to have to wait about two minuets before it realised it had to come down..... Fred Dibnar wouldn't of liked that...... It's also very repetitive... go here destroy some buildings, rescue a couple of hostages............ all this and on something similar as ps2 graphics...... maybe it's because I've just played infamous with none stop explosive action.... or maybe I'm just getting a little to old for this kind of game????.

The Darkness (Xbox 360)

The Darkness (Xbox 360) review

I enjoyed this because it's a little different than most shooters. Graphics are good, gameplay is solid and the story is great too. It's fun finding a phone and dialing a number that you have just seen just to hear a crazy message which unlocks different items. It's not a classic but it is enjoyable and worth renting at least....."

Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360)

Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360) review

The Graphics are truly stunning and yes it does get repetitive and it's a shame becaused with a little more variety this could have been truly "biblical". It's a must rent for anyone just climbing the tall buildings and admiring the views are simply breath taking.
