Assassin's Creed (PS3)

Assassin's Creed (PS3) review

Assasins creed is a game which has never been done before. You can climb absolutly anything you see, the combat system works extremely well. But the only let down is that the loading takes forever, and the tutorial is just too slow! It won't take you long to complete, but it is well worth playing!

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PS3)

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PS3) review

Ratchet & Clank games have always been good. It was a must buy for the Playstation 2. And now, it's come to the Playstation 3, and the creators have done dam fine job as well. The opening level is breath-taking, as buildings are destroyed by evil robots, debris flying everywhere, and the whole city going kaka koko. You think that it's imposible to fight back against all these guys at first, but you soon realise, you are far better than them. The weapons are unique in everyway, and your robot friend Clank is always there to help as well. The game lasts around 15 hours, but it is well worth playing through the game. I recomend renting this game for at least a month before giving this superb game back.

Transformers: The Game (PS3)

Transformers: The Game (PS3) review

Horrible. Absolutly horrible. That's all I can say for this game. Transformers the film was a smash hit, and everyone loved it. But Transformers the Game, don't even go there. The graphics are the same as a PS2 game, and gameplay is even worse. The missions get repetitive and the voices of your transformer get anoying. "Wouldn't it be great if your transformer could transform in mid air!?" "Yeah! It would!" But it can't. It's soo bad, then didn't even think about transforming in mid air!!! Even if you're a die hard fan of the film (like I am), you will still be very dissapointed. If you give this to your kids as a birthday present or something, they will probably stare at the game in shame, even if they are a 3 year old. I highly recomend any game player to stay away from this game, even though the front looks alright. But remember, never judge a book by it's cover...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3) review

This game is brilliant. Everything about it is brilliant. You'll be playing through the 150 hours worth of quests and it will still be brilliant. You start of as a poor prisoner, and then you start to progress to whatever you may want to be. Archer, Magician, Warrior, Theif etc. The map is absolutly huge, and it looks brilliant. There are a huge amount of people to talk to, and there are a huge amount of monsters you will have to face. I recomend not only renting this game, but buying it.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3) review

Unchanted: Drake's Fortune, is probably one of the best PS3 exclusive games out there on the market, and it has beaten Lara Croft by miles. It looks great, feels great and plays great. But there is one thing missing. Multiplayer. Sony have given us a free multiplayer experience using the Playstation, but Unchanted have just missed the bus stop to multiplayer. Why does this game NEED multiplayer do you ask? It's because the game finishes too quickly. This means that at one point it will pretty easy to complete, then suddenly it becomes like it's impossible when you reach the next chapter. At points it can scare you (lol), but to get the most out of Unchanted, you will need and HDTV. I recomend renting this game, but not buying.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (PS3)

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (PS3) review

Lost Planet is a great game. It's a shame that it took sooo long to get it ported to the Playstation, but it's probably worth the wait. This is because Capcom have added more detail into the game (graphics, feel of the game). And they have also added more online map packs just for the Playstation version. Online takes time getting used to unlike COD4, but single player throws you straight into the action. Absolutly superb game, and will keep you going for at least 10 hours for single player, and even more if you play online. The only downside is the installation process. Lost Planet requires 5GB of your hard drive, to even play on it, and it will take up to 20 minutes before you see the title screen. But I say it's definatly worth it and now it feels like there's NO load time, and the game runs super smooth. I recomend BUYing this game, if you know anything about decent games.
