Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360) review

Im not a big fighting game fan, but I had a blast on Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe. It is no where near the best fighting game I have played, and if you are expecting Mortal Kombat brutality then look elsewhere, but the game is just good simple fun. Single player (as with most fighting games it seems) is pretty pants, but get some mates round and you wont need another game for a long time. Single player is 2/5 but mp is a good 4/5. Had more fun on this over Street Fighter and Soul Caliber 4...

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3) review

This game was hyped up as the best game on the ps3 by all of my mates and most of the media, but by the time I got round to playing it, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune just seemed stale. Its shooting is average, the puzzles are poor and the storyline is pretty pants. As expected the graphics are still very easy on the eye, but that doesnt save it from being an average game on a console that needs better. Hopefully the second one is better, and from what I have seen, it looks way better.

The Eye of Judgment (PS3) review

This game was cheap on Shopto so I thought why not? Well I have to stop thinking that because it never gets me a decent game. Each side has a 3x3 grid and you place cards down on the mat for the camera to read and then stuff happens on the screen. Sounds good if you like card games, however a lot of the time the camera doesnt read it, and due to the fact it reads it, then does the action it makes the game VERY VERY slow. Either make it a card game, or a computer game where you use cards but dont mix it as this game proves that it doesnt work. Sluggish and boring.

Warhawk (PS3) review

Hands down, Warhawk is by far the best game on the ps3, even the 1 v 1 is fantastic. There is no lag, amazing graphics and a battlefield style online formula, and all of that adds up to a fantastic game. DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU HAVE NO ONLINE OR ONLY ONE CONTROLLER though because as for as I can see there is no single player to speak of, however that is not a problem if you want somewhere to pick up skills as the controls are simple and if you have played any other shooter you will be fine. Only major problem is as it is on the ps3, no one talks... Only one small problem that is not in the hands of the devs. If you need a reason to get a ps3, this is it.

Red Steel (Wii) review

I remember being excited about this game back in the days when the wii was considered being a revolution in gaming and 1on1 controls would change games forever, then the wii and this game came out and it was obvious that it was nothing more than a glorified lightgun. The game is pants. The graphics are poor, the ai is shocking and the overall package is just boring. The second one looks to be what this was hyped to be so ignore this and have a gander at that.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360) review

I am not a big batman fan, however the reviews swayed me to go out and get Batman: Arkham Asylum and while it is not a bad game, it is a mixed bag. The fighting is free flowing, very smooth, however rarely needs more than one button press which makes it pretty boring. The voices are pretty good and I have read that they are from the 90s comic style batman so if you liked that then that will be a pleasant suprise. The graphics are very good and the sets the atmosphere up, but as I said before the action is boring and the puzzles are bland and the steathy bits are so so. It has everything ready apart from the gameplay... People are saying that this is this years Bioshock, however it is no where near.

I got the original Bionic Commando from the arcade and loved it so was highly anticipating this game, however this version of Bionic Commando is no where near as good. You play as as arrogant idiot who is not likeable in the slightest which a silly story (one of the twists is beyond stupid, and im sure you will know which one if you play it) The guns all feel pretty weak and the trial and error style of the gameplay make it VERY frustrating. The swinging when done right is fun, but that is the only part of the game that is.
