Sign up online and choose from over 2000 titles to play for all the major console formats. We'll send you games via 1st class post, and depending on your selected tariff, you can have 1,2 or 3 games out at any one time.
You can keep them as long as you want, and when you've finished, return them to us in the pre-paid envelope. When we get them back, we post your next title on the first available despatch time.
Your credit/debit card details are required to verify your identity and address. We require these from all our customers, whether they are free trial or paying members. This also serves to protect us against any discs that are not returned.
We use the most advanced encryption technology to make sure your personal details and payment details are kept safe at all times. This means there will be no unauthorised access to your account details. As an extra security measure, you will be automatically logged out of the website after 20 minutes of inactivity in case you forget to close your browser after use.
We send information concerning your transactions using Streamline which is an online payment service provided by Natwest Bank.
We process your transactions via the UK's leading payment provider Datacash who provide state of the art security and fraud checking processes.
We do offer a 10 day free trial to our standard membership (SG2) and we may from time to time offer free trials on our other membership plans. This will clearly be shown next to the membership type during the registration process. Your free trial runs from the date your account becomes active (not the date you receive your first game). Please note that we only offer one free trial per household.
When you sign up, we pre authorise your card for the amount of £10.00, to authenticate your account. We receive no funds from this transaction, but this enables us to make sure you have sufficient funds available to pay for the service we offer. This authorisation ususally expires within 1-5 business days, depending on the bank or credit card company's policy. If you have further questions about this, please contact your bank or credit card company.
We stock the largest selection of games in the UK. We have classic titles to the very latest releases for PS3, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP consoles. This means that if the game is currently available in the UK, we have probably got it to rent. If you cannot find a game on our website, please email our Customer Care team with the games title and format and we'll try our very best to track it down and make it available to you.
To make the most out of your SwapGame membership, we recommend you keep at least 10 unique available games in your Rental Queue at all times. For SG3 and SG5 memberships, we recommend at least 20 unique available games are held in your Rental Queue. This is to ensure that we have a good selection of games to send you and that you always have a new game to play.
At the time that your last game was received, the top game in Your Rental Queue was not available. Because we want you to have the best chance to get the game you really want, we wait one day to see if a copy becomes available. If no copies come in, we move on to the next available game in your list, so that you are not without a game for too long.
You can postpone your membership at any time. To do this visit the 'My Account' section of our website. Please note that you must return all games to us before you can postpone your account. Once you have returned your games, press the 'Postpone/Cancel Membership' button in your account. This will stop us sending you any more games and prevent further monthly payments from being taken.
To reactivate your account, log on and go to the 'My Account' section. Go to 'My Membership' and click on the 'Postpone/Cancel Membership' link in the Options Module. Press the 'Reactivate Membership' button to make your account active again. We will immediately send you your games and your membership will continue as normal.
There is no minimum contract with us. You can cancel your membership at any time via the website or emailing customercare@swapgame.com and our team will place a cancellation request on your account. There are no cancellation fees and no commitments.

SwapGame reserves the right to charge for damage occuring in transit.
Yes. You will notice that some of the games you rent from us have a 'Keep It' button displayed next to the game title in your 'Games I Have Out' screen. This lets you keep a game you are renting for the 'Keep it' price shown on the website. We will automatically charge your card the price shown and the disc is yours to keep. We will send you the packaging and instructions in the post within 3 days. The game will be removed from your Rental Queue and another game rental will be sent out to you.
Yes. Visit our Bargain Basement Store and you will be able to browse all of the games currently available to buy. The games for sale are all pre-played and fully tested. They are sent out with brand new packaging and instructions.
