Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop (Wii) Description

Capcom knows when it's onto a good thing, and a good dose of ultraviolence has always hovered near the top of the 'chopping' list. Ho-ho! Witness the appearance in early 2009 of Resident Evil, Street Fighter et al, and now Dead Rising is back. The original appeared on 360 in 2006 and gave us quite a fright. We've seen quite a lot more that's given us a scare since then, but that's not to say that Chop Till You Drop should be dismissed. You get to use the Wii's Nunchuck, for heaven's sake! Anyway, the story... Gamers assume the role of Frank West, a freelance photojournalist constantly searching for the scoop of the century. In pursuit of a surefire lead, he makes his way to a small American town only to find it has been overrun by flesh-eating zombies. Looking for somewhere to hide out, Frank flees to a nearby shopping centre (in a nod to George A. Romero's classic Dawn of the Dead) only to find it anything but safe. Indeed, it looks like there are more zombies inside the mall than outside. Dead Rising is set over a three day period and offers gamers the full reign of a shopping centre (or mall). It is up to you to help Frank find out who is behind this deadly epidemic. There are many different stores in the mall that offer players an endless supply of resources, including makeshift weapons, vehicles and much more. If you can pick an object up, you can use it has a weapon - there are over 250 items that will help create mayhem, including circular saws, golf clubs, electric guitars, lawnmowers and severed arms! It is important to remember that the zombies become more powerful by night. They may move like a snail with a limp throughout the day, but as the sun goes down they become faster and much more dangerous. Happy 'chopping' everyone!

I would give this game a 3 out of 5 because the fist gameplay is exiting and fun but it gets very repetitive with the continuous saving people and killing zombies. It has very little chance you would like to play this game for more than 4 hours max.It has ruined the dead rising game on the xbox 360 if you like boring repetitive games get this but you should definatley try the original on the xbox 360.
