Acceptable Condition Guidelines

Please make sure that your games adhere to our acceptable condition guidelines set out below. This will ensure you are credited for your trade-ins and there is no delay in processing your order.

If the games you submit for trade in do not meet the criteria given below we will unfortunately be unable to accept the item and you will receive no credit for the item. We will also not return any rejected games and your disc will be recycled free of charge.

We can only currently accept trade in orders from the UK.

  • All games discs must be in good condition and in full working order.
  • The disc(s) must be in the case and it must be the correct disc(s) for the case.
  • All the original packaging must be present, including the games manual.
  • The disc must NOT be a copy or a pirate disc – we take this matter very seriously and reserve the right to take further action on this matter.
  • The disc must NOT be cracked or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage to it – light surface scratches are usually accepted.
  • The packaging and cases must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches but games manuals must be free from stickers, tears and other blemishes.
  • We will charge 50p per Game if the disc requires cleaning as a refurbishment fee, and 25p per Game if the case is broken.
  • We can only accept UK PAL video games.

Remember you must always include: The games disc, games manual, original games box.

Please remember that the games you trade in are offered to others to play so please only trade in games you would be happy to accept yourself.

When you hear the name 50 Cent the average person tends to think of A body armour wearing, Mucle bound neanderthal weilding either a pimp cane or a semi-automatic shotgun while some may invision a musical genius, A poet who's lyrical sways know no boundries. Whatever your thought are of Mr Jackson, Many still beleve that celebrity endorsed games lack shine and polish and recive a jubilee of hype and undeserved praise. Case in point, Shaq-Fu... As a one trick pony cash in, Shaq-Fu has become a beacon in the games industry that has proven a theory that many developers still strive to test on a regular basis, That using a real life protagonist, Let be a worldwide celebrity as a driving force or selling point of a game does not work. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand still fails to break the theory that was proven so many years ago, In retrospect, The only legitimate reason that 50 Cent's Bulletproof was as popular as it was is due to the fact that it had his name pasted allover the boxart. This is generations attempt at the franchise was no exeption. The game starts out with Fiddy being robbed of a crystal skull. (Huge coincidence seeeing that the last installment of the Indiana Jones series sees him rooting for a lost crystal skull that has a stunning resemblence to this one) After the skull is taken by arms dealers to a remote fictional town outside of the United Arab Embassies, Fiddy embarks upon a dessert-storm style assult in search of it. The first thing you notice as you start the game is the control scheme, It feels like The Club's half-cast twin, You know exactly where you stand as soon as you pick up the controller. The free flowing motion of the crosshair feels like Swordfish Studios spent most of the production time fiddling about trying to find just the spot. However, The cover system is broken in mor eways than one, In one mission, I mannaged to get shot through a 3 metre block of concrete... One could overlookm this fact and carry on regardless but after the third attempt and having exactly the same result it becomes less of a flaw and more of a major defect in what's ment to be one of the main mechanics of the game itself... The charecter designs are what you would come to expect from such an average shooter. Although the voice acting is dismally below par, The overall package is a barely passable attempt with little or no emotional connection to the charecters. I would like to write more about this game but the hands of farther time have taken their grip... Overall, This is a sub-average game in an ever growing and expanding market, There are bolder and better shooters out there and let's face it, The only reason you'd play it is to get achivements... Maybe next time "Fiddy" will return in more style...
