Acceptable Condition Guidelines

Please make sure that your games adhere to our acceptable condition guidelines set out below. This will ensure you are credited for your trade-ins and there is no delay in processing your order.

If the games you submit for trade in do not meet the criteria given below we will unfortunately be unable to accept the item and you will receive no credit for the item. We will also not return any rejected games and your disc will be recycled free of charge.

We can only currently accept trade in orders from the UK.

  • All games discs must be in good condition and in full working order.
  • The disc(s) must be in the case and it must be the correct disc(s) for the case.
  • All the original packaging must be present, including the games manual.
  • The disc must NOT be a copy or a pirate disc – we take this matter very seriously and reserve the right to take further action on this matter.
  • The disc must NOT be cracked or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage to it – light surface scratches are usually accepted.
  • The packaging and cases must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches but games manuals must be free from stickers, tears and other blemishes.
  • We will charge 50p per Game if the disc requires cleaning as a refurbishment fee, and 25p per Game if the case is broken.
  • We can only accept UK PAL video games.

Remember you must always include: The games disc, games manual, original games box.

Please remember that the games you trade in are offered to others to play so please only trade in games you would be happy to accept yourself.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (PS3) Description

Another year, another season of the world's most gentlemanly sport. Another season of golf means, of course, that another Tiger Woods PGA Tour game has hit the green. New to this year's game is Hank Haney. Hank Haney, if you didn't know, is the man that coached Tiger Woods all the way to greatness. You're in good hands. Haney will pop up as players progress through the game, offering advice on how to drive hard and straight and how to perfect your banana ball. If anyone's going to help you win the FedEx Cup, it's this guy. Once Haney's helped you get up to scratch, you might want to try out the new club tuner to optimise your swing. You'll be able to tweak your wedges, irons, woods and driver, but you'll have to weigh up the risks of getting premium club performance against ease of use. In this year's game you'll find new locations and courses including Gary Player Country Club in South Africa, Wentworth Country Club in England, Sheshan Golf Club in China, Wolf Creek in Nevada and Bay Hill Country Club in Florida. Populating those courses, you'll find pros such as Si Re Pak, Darren Clarke, Nick Dougherty and Rory McIlroy. In the PS3 iteration, players will find an enhanced version of the EA GamerNet, providing them with instant challenges peppering the course and the chance to climb the daily leaderboard. Also new is the inclusion of Simultaneous Play, which will allow up to four players online to take their shots all at once, making for a faster game of golf.

tiger's most recent outing is his best yet. As usual not much has changed since the 08 version but boosted graphics and more variety in game modes means that tiger woods again has many of us, me included, splashing out on his latest title. Anyone who has played any of the tiger wood's games will know what to expect here. A fun yet challenging career mode, more party games than you can shake a stick at and the same old commentary that has you pulling out your hair as the smug team behind the mic state the obvious as your ball heads for the drink! the new swing tweaking system adds some customisation for the player who needs to have his golfer swinging perfectly before taking him out on the course and online play will have everyone coming back for more. the biggest difference between 09 and 08 is you are now coached by the world famous Hank Haney, more widely known as the coach of Tiger Woods. he guides you through the game offering you advice and help along the way. At the end of each round Haney will asses your performance, giving you ratings out of 10 for all areas of your game including putting, driving and chipping. Haney will then give you drills on the areas of your game that need the most work which not only help your game but also happen to be quite entertaining. the game doesn't offer anything really unique or eye catching but at a lack of any other real golfing games out there tiger woods again wins with this installment. A great game with few flaws.

Still the best golf game there is! Though this time there is a feature to personalise your swing so it's less frustrating for your new starters, and more relies on your ability: 'So long' landing in the bunker...'hello' landing in the lake!
