CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Hard Evidence (Xbox 360) Description

It's time to pick up your magnifying glass once again and join the Las Vegas CSI team in solving bizarre crimes in one of the world's most bizarre cities. Well, we say 'magnifying glass', but what we really mean is super-hi-tech equipment the likes of which you wouldn't even be able to touch in real life. There are five new cases for fans to solve in this latest instalment in the series based on the hit TV show. Players will join Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows and the rest of the Las Vegas cast - whose actors have lent their voice talents to the game - as they piece together the evidence and bring perps to justice. New in this game is the garage lab. Players will be able to use it to examine larger pieces of evidence like cars and trucks. Players will also be able to recreate gunfights using ballistic lasers, dig into events using video analysis and slam down their coffee in anger as they partake in grisly interrogations.

Gameplay-3, Graphics-2, Audio-2, Replayability-1. CSI is a great show and if you enjoy watching the show then you will enjoy this game. The storylines that have been created are really good and makes it feel like 5 actual episodes, except you are in the show. This however is a downside as the cases are very long and do get rather repetitive, going back and forth between locations, examining evidence in the exact way that you have done for every clue. The controls are rather poor, opting for d-pad use for menus. The graphics are not good at all, obviously this is because it is a 2 year old game, but they still do not look anything close to XBOX 360 graphics. The voice work is quite impressive as there are many characters, but in each case only a few people are involved and it can be quite annoying listening to the same voice for hours, thankfully there is a skip button, but you may miss some important clues. There is not much replayability unless you want to collect all the insecrts or something because you will almost always get a good score without trying. Overall i thought this was a good game, i have played quite a few point and click games but this puts a twist on things and has a wide variety of gadgets. If you a fan of the show you cannot miss this, and if you enjoy point and click games, you should probably pick this up too.

I am a gamerscore addict. I have played way too many crap games for any self respecting person just for my meaningless number to go up a few hundred, however this is the game I draw the line at. The graphics are poor, the controls are clunky and the dialogue is pathetic. The idea of a CSI game sounds amazing (well to me anyway) and what I have been given in pure trash. Do yourself a favour and get a better game and if you are in need of some CSI action, watch the program.

Right, this game is attractive for achievement s. Even fellow CSI fans will get bored after one, maybe two investigations. The investigation levels aren't hard, but quite time consuming. Only 5 levels for the full 1000G makes the game that smidge more tolorable. 3/5 from me.

where to begin? this game is sooo poor. If i had bought this in a shop i would have been so disappointed. I've played the game over the course of 2 days and completed it getting all 1000 achievement points....in fact thats the best thing about this game...there are 5 missions and completing each mission no matter how poorly gets you 200 points...there are loads of bonus items to collect such as awards for completing with no hints, for collecting insects for the boss man, and properly researching every piece of evidence but none of this has any bearing on achievement points....they could have done so much with this but failed..and for this it only gets 1 star - and thats for the ease of gaining achievement points

1000 points. yeah. Not as painful if you like CSI and moving an arrow around a screen, but could and should be much better. Waiting for the House game... You are Gregory HouseMD nasty, bitter genius. Objective, be an ass to everyone you meet...999 achievement points... 1 point for saving the dumb broads life who contracted plague from her pet stick insect. Result.
