Acceptable Condition Guidelines

Please make sure that your games adhere to our acceptable condition guidelines set out below. This will ensure you are credited for your trade-ins and there is no delay in processing your order.

If the games you submit for trade in do not meet the criteria given below we will unfortunately be unable to accept the item and you will receive no credit for the item. We will also not return any rejected games and your disc will be recycled free of charge.

We can only currently accept trade in orders from the UK.

  • All games discs must be in good condition and in full working order.
  • The disc(s) must be in the case and it must be the correct disc(s) for the case.
  • All the original packaging must be present, including the games manual.
  • The disc must NOT be a copy or a pirate disc – we take this matter very seriously and reserve the right to take further action on this matter.
  • The disc must NOT be cracked or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage to it – light surface scratches are usually accepted.
  • The packaging and cases must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches but games manuals must be free from stickers, tears and other blemishes.
  • We will charge 50p per Game if the disc requires cleaning as a refurbishment fee, and 25p per Game if the case is broken.
  • We can only accept UK PAL video games.

Remember you must always include: The games disc, games manual, original games box.

Please remember that the games you trade in are offered to others to play so please only trade in games you would be happy to accept yourself.

Colin McRae: DIRT is the most diverse and exciting off-road racing experience ever with exhilarating gravelicious, mud-spattered and downright dirty events the world over. Colin McRae: DIRT also offers a dedicated mode for European, International and Global rally championships featuring official 2WD, 4WD, Classic and RWD rally cars. There are six racing disciplines to get to grips with: Rally is home to the likes of Colin himself and Travis Pastrana, and is the pinnacle of the off-road racing scene. Rally includes point-to-point challenges set in six countries: Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan, Australia and the UK; Crossover is derived from the Super Special Stages found in Rally events. You race head-to-head around a two-lane circuit; Rallycross is the European-based sport of racing on circuits combining on and off-road elements. The competition is fierce and action-packed with the tracks comprising the best from the UK and France; Rally Raid is where world class rally vehicles race in long-haul off-road circuits in the USA; CORR (Championship Off-Road Racing) is America's greatest short track off-road series, with Super Buggies, Class 1 Buggies and Pro 4 Trucks all causing the dirt to fly; finally, there's Hill Climb, the most extreme of the disciplines, with you in control of an 850 bhp monster, racing to the top of the mountains. Awesome! Some of the best bits from former Colin-flavoured glories are present and correct, none more important than the deliciously savage and competitive AI, devastating car damage and authentic engine and rubber on gravel sounds.

Having played this and Sega Rally I would say this is the better game but for one player only (even online). The graphics are great, crash damage is superb, and the engine sounds are great. The game plays really well with a good sense of speed, although the different surfaces are not really that different. Added to this the game is no longer just rally racing but loads of different styles added together, great fun and adds a lot of variety. An absolute bucket load of levels should keep anyone busy for ages, especially if you go for the top difficulty level.
