Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Description

Dragon Ball Z games are far from anything new. It seems like a month passing in which one isn't released is a rare thing. What is new, however, is the mega popular franchise appearing on next generation consoles. Namco Bandai rightly feels that the occasion merits something of an overhaul. If you're not familiar with the Dragon Ball Z series, it's basically about super-powered characters battering the er, batter out of each other in world shattering battles that are often fought at super speed. If that doesn't get your fingers twitching, we don't know what will. The roster of playable characters has been whittled down from triple figures to a more modest couple of dozen or so, but this has made room for more focus on the core storylines of DBZ, which play out through a series of chapters that can be tackled at the player's leisure. As with previous Dragon Ball Z beat-'em-ups, the game has been designed so that newcomers won't find themselves out of their depth, but that doesn't mean it won't reward those more versed in the series' mechanics. As you power up and do things like 'go Super Saiyan' you'll need a more intricate knowledge of how the game works. When you're Super Saiyan, for example, you'll get far more powerful basic attacks, but you'll also find yourself more vulnerable, allowing your opponent an easier shot. A new generation of console means a new generation of Dragon Ball Z. This is an ideal jumping on point.
