Bomberman Land Description

Players take control of White, a heroic little Bomberman with a penchant for games. The Bomberman Land tournament is on, but unfortunately the prestigious title of Champion has been grabbed by a rather less heroic and more evil Bomberman. What to do? Well, you'd best help White win the tournament, hadn't you? The single player campaign takes the form of a series of minigames. Activities range from hopping across logs to make it across a river, to shooting flaming rocks (not a euphemism) to sorting bombs by colour (important to get your bombs organised) to racing mine carts. Fans of the original Bomberman need not fear. The original style of top down gameplay, involving running round and blowing up blocks as you try to get to (and explode) your opponents is present and accounted for in the form of 'Battle Mode.' Yes, you can still blow up your mates. It's all in the spirit being a Bomberman, isn't it?
