Tenchu: Time of the Assassins Description

Tenchu: Time of the Assassins is the debut of the long-running and popular Tenchu franchise on the Sony handheld. Now gamers can enjoy some ninja stealth action when and wherever they want, with the latest game in the worldwide bestselling series that made its debut in 1998 on the PSone. In Tenchu: Time of the Assassins, the complex 3D environments the franchise is known for have been carried over on the PSP perfectly. The game offers greatly improved stealth manoeuvres that really test your ninja skills, and the addition of new death moves add yet more realism to this stealth 'Em Up. In Tenchu: Time of the Assassins every enemy can be killed by carefully planned stealth manoeuvres, even the end level bosses. All the classic Tenchu characters return in scenario mode, including Ayame, Rin, Tesshu and Rikimaru. Each character has a different story, with each story offering different levels for gamers to get stuck into. As well as the scenario mode, there is also a 'free mission' mode that is comprised of 50 seperate missions to play after the single-player campaign has been completed. Tenchu also offers a multi-player option that allows players to connect via a local (Ad-Hoc) connection, this enables gamers to play with a friend against the computer or against each other to see who is the more competent ninja.
