Disney's Party Description

Party games, despite their growing popularity, are still too few and far between. Nintendo's Mario Party series helped fill the void somewhat, and now there's another one on the scene from EA and Disney for GameCube, called Disney's Party. Receiving an invitation to Uncle Scrooge's Party Park, you, along with a host of classic Disney characters, will embark upon a board game adventure complete with mini-games, collectibles and some great multi-player fun. Playable characters include Mickey, Daisy, Goofy and one of our personal favourites, Donald Duck. Game Board Mode is where the heart of Disney's Party lies, as players assume the role of one of Disney's characters in a bid to be the first to finish their own board game. But it's not as simple as throwing the dice and moving forward a few spaces. Moving around the board, you'll often be challenged to participate in mini-games to compete for valuable collectibles that will help you in your quest. There are some 30 mini-games spread across the game's 14 worlds, that accommodate for up to four-players. Win the game and you reap the rewards, it's that simple. Play in Pairs Mode allows players to team up with a friend for co-operative gameplay, and Mini-Game Mode lets players delve into a plethora of mini-games for some quick multi-player fun. And finally, Free Pass Mode gives players the ability to alter the rules of the game to make things easier or more difficult to suit their own skill level. Disney's Party's inspiration obviously comes from the Mario Party games. They were great, and we're sure you'll enjoy this one too.
