Big Mutha Truckers Description

An HGV delivery game, anyone? It's not the most appealing genre for a game, is it? When you consider that, following a trip to your local games retailer, you could be infiltrating virtual terrorist hideouts, scoring in a virtual World Cup, or rescuing the inhabitants of alien planets, delivering stuff in your virtual lorry just doesn't really cut it. But Big Mutha Truckers! Wait a minute, that's different. It's got style. It's got controversy. It's got a fictional female character who claims to have de-flowered Gareth Gates (no, honest!). Big Mutha Truckers sounds like a game for all the cool kids. And it is. Ma Jackson, owner of Big Mutha Truckers Inc., has announced to her four kids that she's planning on retiring. Choosing the new owner of the company will not be easy though - Ma's four kids are a difficult bunch. So she comes up with the perfect solution - a Trial by Truckin' - whoever makes the most money trucking through Hick State County in 60 days takes control of the company. The game itself sees the player take command of an 18-wheel rig, trucking from city to city, wheeling and dealing and upping the stakes as they battle to build up a personal fortune. Along the way players will run into the local biker gangs, corrupt sheriffs and even their own redneck siblings. As well as looking after themselves and their cargo, players also need to take good care of the their trucks, as repairs and upgrades are an essential part of the proceedings if the bikers and the police are to be evaded. No one wants to be robbed or thrown in jail now, do they?
