Creatures Description

Following several successful releases of the Creatures brand on PC, those cute little bog-eyed critters are emerging on a Game Boy Advance screen near you. Like its predecessors, Creatures for GBA is kind of an exercise in babysitting. You'll be given Norns, which you must take care of and ensure their well being. If they're hungry, give them food, if they're tired, put them to bed. But the most astonishing aspect of Creatures is that it runs in real-time. Character behaviour and movement isn't predetermined in the game programme; they go where they want, do what they want, when they want. This makes Creatures a completely unpredictable experience for all, and gives great longevity to the game. If you're not happy with Norns, you can take on a small race of Grendels, which are equally challenging and fun. Best of all, it's a completely different playing experience. Finally, and perhaps the least important aspect of this stunning game is the graphics. Using a 'Mega Pixel Format', each world is capable of displaying over one million pixels. Needless to say, the results are astounding; it really is the icing on the cake for Creatures. Sure, Creatures is a strategy-oriented game, but it's one of the most addictive and memorable experiences available for the handheld market.
