Classic arcade fans, prepare for re-entry as one of the best-loved shooters from 'ye days of olde' returns and releases on Nintendo Wii in early 2008. Geometry Wars Galaxies for the noughties adds a Campaign mode to the original blueprint, along with new multiplayer modes and online leaderboards. Geometry Wars Galaxies' new mission-based campaign enables players to embark on action-packed quests across the galaxy, defending solar systems one by one, and beating off waves of alien enemies on instantly recognisable (to GM veterans at least) and brand new, never-see-before Battle Grids. The control system has been optimised for the Wii, enabling players to use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller or a regular joypad to make moves the likes of which have to be seen to be believed. Owners of both the Wii and DS versions of Geometry Wars Galaxies can also download the full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved via GameShare and unlock bonus content.

NEW ENEMIES AND WEAPONS - Geometry Wars: Galaxies will have even more enemies and weapons to maximize high scores that can be placed on the Nintendo Wii online leader boards.
