My Sims Description

EA has brought its classic Sims series to Nintendo, and with it, a huge dash of Nintendo accessibility and wholesomeness. Not that the Sims needed much by way of additional wholesomeness, but it certainly seems to be a natural fit with Nintendo. In MySims, players are charged with dragging a town from a state of general decrepitude to being a lovely place to spend an afternoon. To kick things off, players will build their character. A wide range of items are available to customise characters, with players able to create looks ranging from the more conventional (baseball cap and pigtails) to the downright grungy (dreadlocks and mohawks). Once you've got your character up and running, it'll be time to get to work. The town's going to need sorting out, for one. It's pretty rundown, but with a bit of elbow grease and a touch of Nintendo control wizadry, players will be able to get it ship-shape in no time. Using a set of building blocks and tools, players will be able to to build anything from a piece of furniture right up to a brand new home! Of course, it wouldn't be a Sims game if you weren't going to spend a bit of time with the folk around you. Among the locals you'll find the ever-busy Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall, the less-busy hotel Bellhop, Gino Delicioso, the Italian Chef and Ocean Breeze, who wants to set up a Yoga studio.

• A whole world to explore - This town has a lot going on. Move into a new house, then discover areas like the mountain, forest, port, entertainment district, and more. Unlock more of the world as new characters visit and move in.
• Play mini-games all over town - From fishing, paragliding, and scuba diving to prospecting and racquetball, theres always a fun activity to play in MySims. Get high scores and win special items you can use to customize the town.
• Give it your personal touch - Plan the layout of your home, plant and maintain the town landscape, and uncover special items to really make the town your own.
• Create your own Sim - Its a cinch to personalize your Sim! Choose your Sims gender, facial features, hairstyle, clothing and more. Then update your Sims look with cool new clothing and accessories as you befriend the neighbors.
• Design your own stuff - Create your own original patterns to make unique clothing and furniture items. You can even send your inspired creations to a friend using the NDS local wireless connection.
