Mercury Meltdown Revolution Description

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a mind-melting variation on the puzzle game that has already appeared on Sony consoles. Using the Wiimote, one player at a time guides a liquid blob around traps, spikes, moving floors and many other hazardous obstacles in order to progress through the game. With Mercury Meltdown Revolution, the object of the game is simple: get as much mercury to the finish pad as possible, and as quickly as you can. Some levels have more than one finish pad too, and to add to your challenge, these pads are different colours, and your mercury must match before you can complete the level. Any amount of mercury is enough - even if the tiniest blob touches the finishing pad, you will succeed. However, on certain sections, you will not be able to reach the finish at all unless you save a certain amount of mercury. Each level is represented by a test tube, and each tube starts off empty. When you have played a level, the respective test tube will fill with as much mercury as you have saved on that level. When you have saved all the mercury on a particular level, that tube is full and a cork will appear in the top. In addition to the cork, there may be two tags attached to the tube - one for achieving the number one spot on the high score table for that level, and one for collecting all the bonus items. When you collect all the mercury and the bonus items, you will get a golden cork in your test tube instead of a normal one. There are eight laboratories in Mercury Meltdown and each contains 16 levels. You must save a certain amount of mercury before the next lab unlocks. Within each laboratory, you can play the levels in whichever order you prefer. You can always come back to levels to try and improve your score or the amount of mercury you've saved.
