World Snooker Championship 2007 Description

Building on the success of Sega's 2006 snooker hit comes World Snooker Championship 2007. Boasting 104 world class snooker players, this title gives gamers the opportunity to play against some of the greats. Bring Ronnie O'Sullivan back to form or reduce current World Championship holder Shaun Murphy to cue-wielding rubble: it's your call. World Snooker Championship 2007 gives players a shot at ten official tournaments, all based around the 2007 season. Don't just expect a repeat of last years title with a few new names and faces, however. Developer Blade Interactive has introduced a whole new aspect to the franchise: pool. Added to the mix are some of pool's best players. You can compete against them across 10 tournaments, including the Mosconi Cup and the World Pool Championships. Also thrown in to expand on the series is Golden Cue mode. This will allow you to mix it up by switching cue sports mid-game and push your versatility to the next level. Blade has also taken some time out to enhance the existing gameplay mechanics. The cueball can be positioned with greater accuracy than in previous iterations of the game, allowing players to perform advanced safety shots for better defensive play. The create-a-player mode also returns with improvements, allowing gamers to customise their player before they rise to the top.

Fantastic graphics and reality with a great new feature of an indicator for where the cue ball will finish. A variety of games to keep you amused for hours. Only downfall is that the gameplay is slightly slow, again being a fair reflection of the real game. Well worth a go.

I loved playing this game it had good graphics , gameplay and to use the circle on the table for potting and good position for next shot , i found that this is much the only change from the last snooker game, but it was fun to play well worth a rent!
