Ninety Nine Nights Description

N3 Ninety-Nine Nights follows the individual journeys of seven warriors. The struggle between the light and dark has resulted in the destruction of the mysterious Power Stone, and a new world order must be established. The magnificent seven (can we call them that?) are destined to battle in places far beyond their imagination, as a grand tale full of drama, destruction and violence unfolds. In N3, you can control up to seven different characters, but from the outset, you have to play as Inphyy. Inphyy is a 17 year-old female member of the Temple Knights. She brandishes a crimson broadsword and wields a Light Orb Spark, something that when summoned can do much damage. Her lineage is descended from one which is blessed with a divine protection of the light. She's unwavering regarding her faith in the Temple Knights and her belief in justice. Once you meet certain game conditions playing as Inphyy, you will begin to unlock the remaining characters. Each one has unique weapons and uses Orb Sparks with differing attributes. N3's selection of characters has a different back-story and each one faces a unique set of circumstances. As you progress through each warrior's story, the events of this tale unfold on a grand scale. Across several parallel timelines and a number of perspectives - not to mention many battles against Orcs, Goblins, Trolls and Dragons - eventually the vast universe of Ninety-Nine Nights reveals itself as one of the deepest game experiences of 2006.

I find the previous two reviews of this game to be a little harsh. Whilst not the best game on the 360, it is still worth a rental if you want a bit of no brain button bashing. The best bits about the game are: 1) Huge draw distance. 2) Large amount of enemies on screen. 3) Impressive magical effects especially when you fill up your blue bar. It shows what the 360 will be capable of for similar titles in the future. I didnt have any problems unlocking achievements, the only one I havent done is getting an A ranking on all missions. Its not a game to buy, as its too easy and lacks depth, you will probably complete it with a couple of days solid playing. But give it a go, its similar in gameplay terms to the absolutely awful Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, but has improved on it significantly. If you are a fan of the old hack and slash classic Golden Axe you may enjoy this one.

This may not be the best game but there can be sum fun from it as it features hundreds of enemies on screen at once without slowing down, some fantastic majic that wipes out the area but the goblin eneimes are the most aggravating b*****ds you'll ever fight but theres a great leval where you slaughter the goblins wife and kids, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED THAT PART.

Played the demo on X-box live, thought this looks great, all the characters on screen at once, huge battles, this is what Kameo promised but didn't deliver. But alas... very shallow gameplay, consisting of button bashing to kill hundreds of goblins and other such creatures. Numerous faults, scenery whilst looking fantastic is actually no more than a backdrop... you can look but you can not explore... at some points in the game the armies will stay on a hill firing arrows at you whilst your armies are unable to access the landscape they are standing on! Another major flaw? Well, when using attcaks you receive energy which charges up your magic ability, then when it reaches a certain level you can discharge your magic and wipe out an entire goblin army in a few second... sounds great... but not if you deploy just before a cut scene, which whilst discharging the magic power does not allow the magic to continue after the cut scene has completed. Finally, what appears to be the most frustrating, apart from the amount of battries your wireless controller goes through whilst playing this game, is the difficulty in unlocking achievements. From what I have witnessed and read on chat rooms, evenn when appearing to have finished all the characters quests... the achievements will remain unlocked. What you need to ask yourself is can you really be bothered?

This game is poor to say the very least. Just to say that this game isn't even worth a rental as it really is that bad I hate it, and I have to say that it is going straight back in the post box as soon as possible.
