Nanostray is an intense, pulse-pounding 3D Shooter designed exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Supporting touch screen input, network play and dual screen support, Nanostray's arsenal of weapons, non-stop action and beautifully designed environments make this game one of the most exciting and innovative 3D shooters ever.
Slowly awakening from a blast to the side of your ship, your memory is jumbled and you can't remember what just happened or what you're doing in this sector. Instinctively, you check your console; a destination is still plugged in. You must take action; the enemy is starting to swarm.

| Nanostray is a good old fashioned top down shooter. Well actually, its more of a top down 3D shooter ! The path of your craft is scripted but the environment that it is passed through is fully realised in 3D. The graphics on this game are top notch, but the never ending wave of enemies prevents the player from really enjoying too much of the visuals. This game is very much the type of game that you have to learn. In that, I mean that the path through the levels is always the same and therefore memorising the enemies routines becomes essential in order to drag out a good high score. The game features a single player 'story' mode as well as some additional 'arcade' sections and a 'challenge' mode. Ultimately the game is short and is really the type of game that is played in short bursts rather than prolonged gaming sessions. Worth a look ! | ||
